Some time ago Matthias Jankowitz from Oracle proposed me a list of presentations Oracle could deliver to our architects, developers and dbas here at Mobiliar. We had a short internal survey about the suggested topics. The resulting short list was impressing: the guys were very interested, supporting the proposal as a good idea. Here at Mobiliar, topics like NoSQL (read more on Christian’s article), Docker (see Alain’s presentation) and Kubernetes are really VERY HOT!

Therefore we decided to organize an “open door” day with 5 presentations (see the agenda below). The presentations will be held on the 4th of September, 2017 in the Mobiliar “Aula” at Bundesgasse 35 here in Bern. The presentations are open and free for everyone, not only for Mobiliar employees. If you plan to attend, please just send a quick mail to db-blog@mobiliar.ch with the sessions you would like to attend – we will register you. And please: just promote it by Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin and every other media you can think of 😉
